Year 2 visited Bhaktivedanta Manor. They learnt about the Hindu Gods and prayer, played in the spiritual garden, fed carrots to the cows and enjoyed a fabulous lunch!
Celebrations of Light
Reception have been exploring different celebrations of light. Today we focused on the Hindu celebrations of Diwali. We explored the story of Rama and Sita, made paper candles and in music learned a Diwali dance.
Hindu Temple
In the woods we created a Hindu reflection area based on the Hindu maze.
Visitors
We welcomed a visitor from the Whisper Group. She shared her personal knowledge of Hinduism
