In order to give the St Michael's children a wide range of careers to aspire to, the School Council invited parents to come into school to talk to the children about their work.
We have had several 'Dreamcatcher' assemblies during which the children listened attentively and asked some very searching questions!
At the end of the assembly, all the parents who contribute are asked the same two questions:
Inspiration: 'Who do you most respect and admire and why?'
Wisdom: 'What do you know now that you wish you'd known when you were at primary school?'
We shall collate all the answers and use these in future discussions with the children.
If any more parents would like to volunteer, please contact the school office.
